Workshop on bio-lubricants which will be held at the Milan CNR Research Area
The SSOG (Divisione Stazione Sperimentale Oli e Grassi, experiment station for oils and greases) by Innovhub, a special division of the Chamber of Commerce of Milan, is the sponsor of a workshop on bio-lubricants which will be held at the Milan CNR Research Area. The workshop will focus on lubricants partly or totally derived from natural renewable sources. This is currently a niche market but it is expected to grow exponentially in the future.
During the workshop, marketing, economic, environmental and technological issues related to this category of products derived from vegetable oils will be discussed.
Dott. Roberto Carboni from Aluchem will present a case study: development and use of a biodegradable lubricant, to solve specific issues of systems installed in hydroelectric power plants.
